Data in the iPhone app

The app saves case progress and preferences on your iPhone using Apple's local app storage. This includes placements, tentative notes and crosses, reviewed clues, hints, elapsed time, completion records, language, and gameplay or comfort settings. We do not receive this information from the app.

The app has no accounts, advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking tools. It does not send your gameplay data to us or to this website. Links to support and policy pages open outside the app.

Data on this website

This site provides app information, support, and policies. We do not run advertising, track your behavior, or set our own marketing cookies. Our hosting provider may process technical data such as your IP address, browser information, and the time of your request. The provider uses this data to deliver and protect the site. It may also use strictly necessary cookies for those purposes.

If you email support, we use your email address and message to investigate and answer your request. We do not use them for marketing. Your email provider and the support mailbox provider also process that communication under their own policies.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-site advertising. Local app progress remains on your iPhone until you remove it. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device. iOS backups may retain a copy, depending on your Apple backup settings. We keep support messages only as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request or meet a legal obligation. The hosting provider handles technical data according to its own retention practices.

Your choices and rights

You can use the app without an account or giving us personal information. You can reset or replay cases in the app. Delete the app to remove its locally stored data. If you have emailed support, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete that correspondence, subject to applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us through the support page.
